When and Why I Booked
I stayed at Virgo Hotel on the first night of my December trip to Nha Trang. I arrived late at night via Cam Ranh Airport and wanted a convenient hotel to get a good rest before kicking off my itinerary. I booked through Agoda and paid around 50,000 KRW ($38 USD) for 3 people—a great deal.
First Impressions & Check-In
Even at midnight, staff at the front desk were friendly and fluent in English. The lobby was spacious and welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient. We weren’t the only late arrivals either—many other groups were checking in around the same time. There were quite a few Korean travelers and also some Westerners.
Room Condition
We booked a Family Room with two double beds. It even had a small terrace and table where we could relax with a coffee. The room was surprisingly spacious, the bedding was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. We slept comfortably with no issues.
Breakfast & Pool
The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, with a spacious and tidy dining area. Though we didn’t use the pool for swimming (we checked out early to head to a resort), we did go up to the rooftop after breakfast. The infinity pool with ocean view was absolutely stunning. It was hard to believe we paid less than $50 for this experience.
Final Thoughts
Virgo Hotel gave us a great first impression of Nha Trang. Though our stay was brief, it made us feel welcome and comfortable. If your trip focuses on exploring the city, staying at Virgo for a night or two makes perfect sense.
Even on a later trip, when I passed by the hotel again, I found myself smiling at the memory of our first night here.
For those not staying in high-end resorts but wanting a budget-friendly city stay near the beach, Virgo Hotel is a top recommendation. Great for groups of friends, couples, families—pretty much anyone who wants value and comfort in one package.
